I am pleased, humbled, and excited that Bishop David Graves of the Alabama-West Florida Conference has projected that I am to be appointed to be in ministry with the beautiful people of the Mary Esther United Methodist Church for a fifth year together. Last September, I began my 31st year under episcopal appointment, and I have never served another congregation that is as warm, loving, and generous. I look forward to the next year with anticipation for all that Christ will do through us! I am so grateful to be working with such an excellent and capable professional and volunteer staff. What Bishop Graves often says is what I feel in my heart: “The best is yet to come.”
